Hollywood action choreographer JJ Perry has shared his experience of working with Kannada superstar Yash for the upcoming film Toxic. A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film marks the latest project of Yash after the humungous success of the KGF films.
“Was a pleasure working with my friend Yash on the film Toxic. Had a great run in India,” wrote Perry on Instagram. “I got to work with a lot of my dear friends from all over Europe. I can’t wait for everybody to see this one. It’s a banger! So proud of what we did,” he added.
Yash, who was last seen in the Prashant Neel-directed KGF: Chapter 2 (2022), responded to the post. “My friend, working with you was straight up, raw power,” wrote Yash.

Apart from working on stunts for famous Hollywood films like Batman & Robin, Blade, Planet of the Apes, Iron Man and John Wick Chapter 2, Perry has also helmed the Jamie Foxx-starrer Day Shift and Dave Bautista’s The Killer’s Game.
Toxic went on floors in Bengaluru in August, 2024. Billed as a gangster film, the movie is bankrolled by KVN Productions, the banner that’s also producing Vijay’s last film Jana Nayagan. Yash, under his production Monster Mind Creations, is co-producing Toxic with Venkata K Narayana.

The film was supposed to release on April 10, 2025. However, the release of the movie has now been pushed indefinitely. Toxic will be shot in Kannada and English and it will be dubbed in multiple languages. The makers released a glimpse of the movie on Yash’s birthday (January 08).
